Rent prices in Metro Vancouver rose in February 2025, with the average cost for a newly-listed unfurnished one-bedroom apartment increasing by $4 to $2,297. This follows a decrease in the previous three months. Four of Canada's five most expensive cities are in the region, with West Vancouver leading at $2,725. North Vancouver and the City of Vancouver follow, averaging $2,572 and $2,468, respectively. Surrey offers the best value for one-bedroom units at $1,912, while Downtown Vancouver remains the priciest neighborhood at $2,706.
